Welcome to the Graduate School of Engineering and Management at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) where we are focused on providing exceptional defense-focused, research-based graduate education. AFIT represents a collection of like-minded scholars, students, researchers, and administrators dedicated to sustaining the intellectual superiority of the defense programs of the United States. Our geographical location and proximity to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) offer a critical mass of defense-focused researchers. We invite prospective students, sponsors, researchers, and collaborators to explore what we have to offer.
As a testimony to our world-class accomplishments, our faculty members average approximately five patents per year. Our space programs have produced NASA astronauts as well as on-orbit space experiments pushing the boundaries of knowledge in key areas such as Space Domain Awareness. Our cyber research center of excellence is preparing future leaders for the cyber warfare of the future. For 100 years, AFIT has contributed directly to the success of missions of the Department of the Air Force and the Department of Defense. All our academic and research programs are judiciously designed to be in direct alignment with the Department of the Air Force and Department of Defense priorities.
The selection of a graduate program is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. You are invited to further explore our programs in engineering, applied sciences, mathematics and management, and discover all the important reasons to choose AFIT's Graduate School of Engineering and Management for your graduate education.
