AFIT Faculty Partners with Leading Scholars for New Supply Chain Text

The Department of Operational Sciences in the Graduate School of Engineering and Management at AFIT is pleased to announce the addition of Jeffrey A. Ogden, Ph.D., to its faculty. Jeff joined the faculty at AFIT as an Assistant Professor of Logistics Management after teaching logistics and supply chain management classes for the past three years at the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. Jeff earned his doctorate and MBA in supply chain management at Arizona State University, one of the top supply chain management schools in the country. Jeff recently coauthored Supply Chain Management: From Vision to Implementation, a research-based, managerially relevant, and leading-edge supply chain management textbook that is currently being published by Prentice Hall. Jeff and his coauthors, Stanley E. Fawcett and Lisa M. Ellram, are active teachers, consultants, case writers, and researchers in the areas of supply management, cost analysis, logistics, global business, and supply chain integration. They have worked extensively with supply chain leaders across a variety of industries around the world for the past fifteen years and have published extensively (more than 200 articles) on the topics discussed in this book. Stanley E. Fawcett, Ph.D., is currently the Donald L. Staheli Professor of Global Supply Chain Management in the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. Lisa M. Ellram, C.P.A., C.P.M., C.M.A., Ph.D., is currently the Chairperson of the Department of Management and the Richard and Lorie Allen Professor of Business at Colorado State University.
