Of the more than 70 chapters of Sigma Iota Epsilon Management Honor Society at universities across the country, the Air Force Institute of Technology’s Sigma Beta Chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon was named the national chapter of the year. The chapter was recognized at the end of April for its service to the community, growth in membership to over 100 active members, and its professional activities that included winning the Department of State’s National Case Study competition. The award includes a plaque recognizing this achievement and a $500 check for the society.
On behalf of the society’s members, Maj. Earl Bennett, President of Sigma Iota Epsilon, accepted the award from AFIT’s Commandant, Brig. Gen. Paula G. Thornhill.
